The Industrial Netware IN-31021 provides a dependable solution for terminating shielded Cat6 Ethernet cable directly at industrial control panels, equipment enclosures, and machine-mounted network connections.
Unlike RJ45 feed-through couplers, this connector uses rear punch-down (IDC) termination, allowing individual Ethernet cable conductors to connect directly to the jack without installing a separate RJ45 plug.
A key feature is its threaded protective dust cap with retaining chain, which helps protect the RJ45 connection from dust, dirt, and moisture when the port is not in use. The retaining chain keeps the cap attached to the connector for convenient access during equipment maintenance.
The connector also features a nickel-plated brass shielding case, 50-micron gold-plated contacts, and a durable thermoplastic housing. Its threaded mounting design and sealing components support IP67-rated installations when properly assembled and protected.

Installation and Compatibility Notes
Punch-Down Termination: This product is an IDC termination jack, not an RJ45 feed-through coupler. Individual Ethernet cable conductors must be terminated directly at the rear of the connector.
Cable Compatibility: Use compatible 22–24 AWG solid-conductor Ethernet cable and a suitable 110-style punch-down tool. Follow the connector's T568A or T568B termination markings.
Protective Dust Cap: The included threaded cap helps protect the RJ45 port when it is not connected to a cable. Secure the cap correctly to maintain the intended environmental protection.
IP67 Protection: Environmental protection depends on correct panel installation, gasket placement, and sealing. When the cap is removed, IP67 protection requires compatible mating hardware.
