The Industrial Netware IN-31024 provides a convenient way to connect two RJ45-terminated Ethernet cables through an industrial control panel, equipment enclosure, or machine-mounted network interface.

Unlike punch-down RJ45 jacks, this connector features a female RJ45 port on each side, allowing compatible RJ45 male plugs to connect directly without cutting cables or terminating individual conductors.

An important feature is the attached water/dust cap, which helps protect the external RJ45 connection from dust, dirt, and moisture when the port is not in use. Its tethered design keeps the protective cover attached to the connector during maintenance and equipment servicing.

The coupler also features 50-micron gold-plated contacts, a nickel-plated brass shielding case, and durable thermoplastic construction. Its threaded panel-mount design and sealing components support IP67-rated installations when properly assembled and protected.
