No Punch-Down Required: Unlike an IDC termination jack, this coupler does not require individual conductor termination. Ethernet cables connect directly to the female RJ45 ports.
IP68 Protection: The manufacturer's specified immersion test is 1.5 meters for 60 minutes. Environmental protection depends on correct panel installation, sealing, and compatible mating hardware. An exposed, unmated RJ45 port should not be assumed to maintain IP68 protection.
